WELCOME TO THE NEW PLACE!!!

It's been an exhausting weekend, what with toting heavy stuff down the stairs at my house, staying up till all hours to find, regroup, unpack, repack, pack in the first place my stuff, then clearing out the car of chairs so the furniture can fit, then (with much help from Lisa's folks and Andy, and my Dad and Devin) getting all upstairs and settled. I still can't believe we got that wall unit up here--that thing gets the axe when we move, no way are we moving it again unless it's in pieces. After all that, there was still more to do, more to buy, mostly, then setupsetupsetup. It's lucky that we moved in on the holiday weekend--the city's practically deserted, the streets are clear, and we found parking everyday.

Among the many, many things left to be done: arrange the living room furniture and set up the TV, video games, and cable (am waiting for Time Warner's call); fill bathroom with assorted girly products in the medicine cabinet; finish unpacking my crap (aka shifting junk from bins to drawers without really organizing); THROWING A PARTY (thought that last one would catch people's eye). Just depends on time and sanity between now and then.
