So, yeah. Majorly cool shout outs to Liz, Lisa, the Kathy, Heidi, Robert, Andy, and hey ya to Toby (new acquaintance type person). Cindy too for best wishes despite her tough times and luck to her. Will see her today. Felt incredibly loved from moment I set foot in Watt. Minus, well, the girl who yelled at me in the door way for being too loud. I'm sorry, my bad, I'll just not be excited about getting see friends I've not seen for six months. Soooooo sorry I was interrupting study hour or sleep at, oh 5 pm? Bitch.
Anywho, yaaaaay party! I got a sign and everything! And, for those in the know, the Y is all that matters. Got "The Tick" DVD which rocks my world---oooh, we sooo should have watched the unaired ep last night! My mail (oops, I was supposed to register for my diploma, hah hah, yeah). Peeps (because it wouldn't be America without 'em). Yay for dishing out souvenirs in return. Souvenir hijinks: Robert is no Aboriginal (he can't use a bullroarer), boomerangs are for hitting misbehavers over the knuckles, and I should have bought twenty more boxing kangaroo pens. Those things are hilarious.
Yay for LOTR!!!!!!! Return of the King has rocked my world, and seeing it with anyone besides this crew for the first time would not have been the same (not worse, just not the same). I really needed Liz M making slash-y commentary on the side the whole time and clawing me everytime Legolas "I Wrote the Book on Dumb Blondes" Greenleaf was on. Also, she and the Kathy make funny noises when you squeeze them too hard.
THE KING. eheheheheheehehhehehe. Soooooo hot. Me likey. *reduced to juvenile level fer sure.* Faramir, always a pleasure. Eomer, you have my number. Faramir needs a hug, too. Needs must see extended version of Two Towers. In fact, we spent a good portion of the subway ride home discussing what scenes were likely clipped from ROTK. Looking forward to that DVD in a years time. Uh-huh.
Other escapades:
-attempt to prove mightiness of tolerance failed due to excessive exhaustion stemming from persistant jet lag (will try again if I don't lose my magical abilities)
-Bundy ruled supreme, judged to be 'not bad' in Coke by N-Yorkies
-Lion's Head gives too many onion rings on its appetizer sampler
-Had weird dream about Liz M owning fish tank with creepy old guy constantly cleaning it--had lots of fish and giant rock lobster; also, I helped clean the tank somehow by holding the bags of fish and by adding seashells to the tank after chewing on them (am sure this is cry for help after my seashells got seized in customs)
-did not sleep much, LOTR too distracting (liz M confirms she had same problem)
-got herbed by BOTH of my bosses today
Okay, that last one bugs me. I wrote Lori, got a confirm she'd be in the city today, and I go by her office, no dice. Call down to the lab, Mona says she's out for the day, never came in. No reply to e-mails. Am assuming she's under too much stress and won't bug her too much. Went to library, but Misha out at meeting. Still haven't eaten lunch....
