1) Make a list of 15 characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment. (That way you're not leading the questions asked to fit the characters.)

2) Ask your flist to post questions in the comments.

For example:

"4, 6, 12 & 15 are starting a band together, what is their name and what kind of music do they play? Also, who's the lead singer, and what instruments do the others play?"

3) After your flist has asked enough questions, round them up and answer them using the 15 characters you selected beforehand, and then post them.

I'm going to break rules here a bit and let certain people know I definitely expect questions from them. Oh yeah, I'm talking to you viridian, miss anomilygrace herself, deepredbelle, ivy03, feiran, to name a few. I mean, I expect loads of questions, but those will do for now :)

I of course had to overthink this and ask enough questions to cover all fifteen characters, choosing their order with a random number generator so as not to introduce bias. And nonw of them are even slashy! So:

15, 8, 5, and 6 are stuck on an island a la Survivor. Who would be voted off first? Who would win?

14 gets transmogrified into an animal. Which animal would it be?

If given the opportunity, would 2 prank 13? How? Would 13 prank back?

7 overhears 10 gossiping about 1. What’s the gossip? How would 7 react?

I'd just like to point out since everyone else did not use a random number generator, choosing instead to "pick numbers randomly" they are inherently biased toward (or as it seems, against) certain numbers. The proof (in a pseudo bar graph - one x per question):

If 11 and 8 were were at the mercy of 3's nefarious plan to destroy them, would 5 or 13 be better suited to show up and kick some ass on their behalf? And why would 3 want to destroy 11 and 8 in the first place? And how would 11 and 8 combine forces to protect themselves until 5 or 13's arrival?

If 4 discovered they had a terminal illness, would they choose 6 or 12 to spend their last moments with, and what would they do?

7 has just discovered a 15 has a terrible secret. What is the secret and who is 7 most likely to tell: 2, 14, or 1? And what would that person's reaction be?
