Time Warner doesn't seem to know where we want to live. Three different people haven't been able to find the new address in their system. Has anyone ever had that happen to them before? Is it possible that in the entire building no one has cable? Mur?

ETA: So, I called them, and they seem to have ammended this statement. This time, the guy did find the address. Only the people who had an account there before us have not cut their cable connection at the old place, so I have to get a copy of my lease notorized and faxed to Time Warner. Does that sound any less insane?

While that's possible, I'd suspect it's far more likely that Time Warner is just being dumb. We're talking about the company who sent a bill for internet service for my old apartment (in Brooklyn) to my new apartment (in NJ), even though their own records listed me as having cancelled the account.

What would you expect from a company that merged with AOL?
