trinityvixenAmazing. Kudos to Dr. Barres. I'm gonna go track down his paper asap, but do read the interview with him. A-fucking-mazing. This relates directly to the blog I read about sexual harassment recently in its overall moral: if you don't call sexism for what it is, you let it pass. If you let it pass, it doesn't get exposed and expunged.
This man, when he was a woman, didn't defend himself as he ought to have done, didn't receive the acclaim he ought to have gotten, and only now he's a man can he talk about it and get anyone to listen. Because if he was a woman and he published this article? He'd a be just another bra-burner. Even though evidence is on his side, if he were not a he, we would not be talking about this.
