We're officially allowed to leave if we want. The deal with the AC is that, while certain buildings and our fucking hallways can be inhabitable, our lab can't.
This is redonkulous. They're running one elevator in Presbyterian Hospital. They're not running any in the Black building. I have to be here to pick up samples at 4 pm, but I'm seriously debating leaving work for home which is fucking sad because I have to leave work for the blessed comfort of my sweltering apartment because it has a fan.
But then I have to come back here and make a fifteen-flight climb. If I'm leaving for a long lunch (and maybe--maybe doing work in the library), I'm gonna go at two so I can pick up my samples on the way back and maybe miss the lunch hour crush.
Excuse me, there's a 4-degree room, and it's calling me.
