Watched an episode of Smallville the other day. Suffice to say it is a waste of Callum Keith Rennie to be on that show, especially in an episode as dumb as "Fragile" (directed by Tom Welling! Woo! ::HEAVY SARCASM::). But play the six-degrees-of-separation with me. CKR is Leoben Conroy on Battlestar Galactica. Thus, Smallville is one degree from Battlestar Galactica.

This is encouraging me to levels of idiotic fannishness to waste time at work. So, how many degrees separated are my other regular shows from my wubbies on Battlestar? I think I'm going to have an easy time of it with House, given all the regular guest star patients they have (though I don't think even L.L. Cool J was cool enough to get onto BSG). I think I can safely blame [livejournal.com profile] viridian for setting me off on this path by her mentioning all the people who jumped ship from Angel to be on LOST. I'm picturing Starbuck out on Craphole Island. Others wouldn't last forty minutes let alone forty days with the harrassment shit they kicked up.

I'd give my left arm to see House and Doc Cottle together. Oh my God, I think I just exploded. Especially as I imagine either of them working at the Smallville Medical Clinic. I tell you, there'd be a lot fewer folk showing up to that hospital if House and Cottle were the chiefs of staff there. Plus, there's some sort of delicious irony in foisting off Lana Lang on Jack. Someone as whiny as he is! AND HE CAN FALL IN LOVE WITH HER AND NOT BREAK THE RULES OF HER SHOW EITHER. I think I exploded again, but not in the good way this time.

Yes, I'm bored at work. You can tell? Really.

Well, let's see. House and Smallville both had Joe Morton as a guest star, which means that House is at the most two from BSG. And Tony Todd has been on every damn thing. 24, Andromeda, Angel, Bab 5, Hercules, Law and Order, Smallville, SG1, DS9, TNG, Voyager, X-Files... No BSG yet, but I'm sure he will.

Tony Todd on BSG would scare me a lot. Especially if he was (and he'd almost have to be) a Cylon.

Hee! Hugh Laurie was in "Spice World" with Richard E Grant (I'm sure they're so proud), who was in "The Scarlet Pimpernel" with Jamie Bamber. All I need now is to think of Birtish actors who've been in "Smallville", because they link so easily together :D

Oh, Hugh Laurie, you saucy wench. If you love the Laurie, go find a copy of this week's Entertainment WEekly. The cover picture is worth it.

I found another BSG cast member the other day, but I can't remember who it was. I think maybe Helo?
