Hello, I am the space where TrinityVixen's brain used to be.

I'm a bit vacant at present because TV's just gone and watched "Blue," an episode of series seven of Red Dwarf.

You see, there was a spot of kissing...

...and suddenly the brain was out of here. I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. It just popped off on an explosive burst of giggles, and was never seen again.

(How adorable is it that Lister actually misses Rimmer? It makes me actually like Lister a little, which was, as far as I could guess, impossible to this point.)

There's a character named "Rimmer"? In a show with "hard" light?

Ahahahaha, you know they were originally going to call the 'Stoke me a Clipper' episode 'Natural Born Rimmers', until they realised the implications. XDDDDD

OMG the kiss. SO hilarious! And watching the extended version where Chris and Craig sort of mash their faces together more than kiss is even MORE hilarious. :D:D:D

I think they're so cute. The girl playing Kochanski said a very nice thing in the extras about how they didn't go all macho afterwards and joke about it. That's cute. And they did show the longer cut, and that was hilarious.

Better is watching the episode with commentary. Everyone is laughing about it and saying how it went on for much longer pre-editing.

Since you are nearing the end of season 7 I will say this. Were season 7 leaves off and season 8 picks up is the smoothest season transition ever for Red Dwarf. Plus you get Rimmer back for season 8 (I believe you will be quite amused by episode Back in the Red II).

Now all this Red Dwarf talk has made me ponder a bit. One thing for example is who played a better Kochanski. Now since it was a Kochanski from another dimension they could get away with the actress change more easily. Still, I think I liked Clare Grogan over Chloë Annett. Clare seemed a far more "Lister" type of person than Chloë.

Seeing as I don't care about Kochanski other than as a running gag about Lister's obsession with her prior to the ret-con that made her his ex, I dunno as I can help you there.
