...can't hardly see...so tired...up too early to drive to wedding...wedding very fun but exhausting with the dancing (and with chuckro and jethrien being so very, very adorable in all that they did)...and driving home...and stuff...
Are you kidding? I was totally sober by the time I was driving. I never was more than a little warm in the cheeks in terms of drinking. Also, I was sure to drink white wine only because one glas of red, and I'd have been unconscious.
We had the option of an open bar for the wedding, in addition to all the wine, asti and cordials. We opted against it, because we figured no one would be conscious after the wedding if there was any more booze.
I was very conscious. The point of drinking wine is to actually appreciate the taste (unlike regular alcohol which I try to disguise with flavoring), so I was quite enraptured by that choice. I had some of the best wine I've ever had at your wedding. I don't know if you specifically selected all the bottles, but well done in choosing either way (because if you didn't select the bottles, the place did, and you chose them well). Really great stuff.
