Awww!!!! feiran and I just finished the first of the new series of Doctor Who. SO. VERY. CUTE. I miss the Ninth Doctor already even as I was fangirly squealing over how cute the new Doctor is. Christopher Eccleston did such a great job (and was a really good sport about the ears thing), it's a shame he had to bug out so early. But wooo! Now I can move onto the next season, no waiting!

Also, the guy playing Captain Jack? SO NOT WORTH LISTENING TO WHEN HE IS NOT PLAYING CAPTAIN JACK. Just FYI, people. Cute does not make you interesting.

There are still a bazillion unanswered questions I've got about the deus ex machina at the end there, but so long as we get the Doctor and his companion off on more adventures, can't complain!

Also, how do you know about John Barrowman not being interesting? Was there an interview with him? All accounts I've heard of him say he's funny in RL too. He's also seriously hot, so I'll forgive him boringness.

Also?? If people want to watch the new series like, right away? There can be Doctor Who nights, once I'm not sick. Talk to me after the 30th and I'll arrange something. People can come up here, because up here we can watch them on the actual tv instead of on a computer screen.

Well, there was an interview with him about Captain Jack being introduced, and he was kind of full of himself. I mean, yeah, it was an interview about his character, so he was talking about himself a lot (and how LOLZ LIEK OMG so much of Jack is really just the way HE acts, only not quite that insidiously stupid). But when he'd talk about the obvious stuff it was boring. Maybe if he wasn't talking? 'Cause he's still SERIOUSLY pretty in real life.
