Gone until Tuesday morning. Have a good weekend, y'all.

Also, what the F, Battlestar Galactica? That was...lackluster. Especially for the heavy shit going down.

Ugh, I know, what a cop-out. Raise interesting and provocative moral questions? Sure. Find a way to COMPLETELY NOT DEAL WITH THEM? Absolutely.

Actually I like how they resolved that bit. You had to know that the Psylons were not going to get wiped out. We all knew where madam president stood on psylons in general. What I found interesting was were Adama stood on the issue (and to a far lesser degree, Lee). Helo was a good device to solve this little problem.

As for another major development, I am now more convince than ever as to exactly what the Six in Baltar's head really is. Yes it's that theory of mine born from the original series. If I am right, then by the send of season 3 things will really get interesting as a third party is revealed.

I think she is him. I've pretty much thought that since his nulled CAT scan showed nothing. She is the part of him that is perfect, intelligent, sexy, and yearning for meaning. Her distracting him from the pain in this last ep was brilliant. Go Chip! (not!) Six!

I understand why you might think that way. However that would make Baltar one hell of a psychic considering things that he couldn't possibly know popping up through the six in his head. I don't want to say more given that you asked that I not tell you my theory or it's basis from the original. I will say though that those familiar with the original that I've talked to on this matter seem to be lining up with me on this theory. Let's see if my prediction for how season 3 will end will come true ^_^

I like the ambiguity of the fact that she doesn't necessarily say anything he couldn't know. There's some stretches--Hera and the timing of Chip!Six's baby craziers--but for the most part, it could be Baltar without any finagling. Baltar is, as if often forgot with the focus on his paranoia and hedonism, a genius. He is the foremost Cylon expert for a reason--he understands computers and AI better than anyone (before the worlds ended, he was pushing to recreate AIs and saying that the threat of creating another Cylon problem was ridiculous etc).

Where it gets weird is the acknowledgment that the fugues he has are quite similar to Six's projection. Then again, Baltar is clearly insane, so visions of sugar plums dancing in his head aren't signs of anything so much...

Yeah, for a second, I was super impressed. Like, DUDE, Laura Roslin is totally going to airlock Helo. Then....
