The only sheet of paper left behind at the copier had the words "DO NOT DISCARD" on it.

Wow, it's the opposite of trying to get the garbagemen to take a beat up old garbage can...they take the note you put on it, but leave the can.

Heh, here, anything not nailed down can walk off, so I gather that, were the garbage can to have a sign on it, they'd just be able to figure out to take the trash, not the can (we've had garbage cans disappear).

Really. Copier stories? The best. THat's where Office Space gets it just right (except it's a fax machine there, but the principle is the same: tempermental machine dealing with paper).
