Wow, it's the opposite of trying to get the garbagemen to take a beat up old garbage can...they take the note you put on it, but leave the can.

Heh, here, anything not nailed down can walk off, so I gather that, were the garbage can to have a sign on it, they'd just be able to figure out to take the trash, not the can (we've had garbage cans disappear).
