trinityvixenI missed the new House last week, and American Idol is on tonight, so when the hell am I gonna get my House fix in!? I read the recap, which was good enough, but I want my Hugh Laurie damnit!
And now I find I missed him winning an award for playing House, too! Damn it. He's so effortlessly funny, I want to hate him but he's so funny I can't!
On the television side, Hugh Laurie won for best actor in a series, for his portrayal of a tortured, but talented doctor in “House.” He said he was surprised at the win, adding, “I’m literally without a speech,” and suggested that with all the presents that come to nominees, no one had thought to offer a free speech. “There’s a gap in the market,” he said.
I likey! I liked it better when he said he had too many people to thank, so he put names in his pockets and pulled out three at random--one of which ended up being his hairdresser. And I miiiiiiissed it! Okay, so I wasn't going to watch that whole ridiculous piece of pre-Oscar junk, but still! ::whine::
