Embedded on the side of this article is a fun little ticker that lets you see how many times in all of his speeches Bush Jr. has used key words. I'm kinda more interested in it than the article about the Democratic response. Sadder than mentions of Bin Laden being missing from all but the last two speeches? There was only one speech involving the word "surplus," and that was in 2001. Kinda tells you something, doesn't it?

Also, isn't Bush supposed to have lied to us and told us the state of the union was strong? Or did I miss that with all my drinking?

I don't know. I was too busy baking a pie to watch the State of the Union. I vastly prefer my pie, thank you.

And I was playing Katamari, happily rolling all of the nations of the world into one big ball.

Ah, if only we could be rolled into a ball, held together by sticky bonds of goodness, we would all be happy and peaceful.

Then again, we are held together by the solid connection of Earth and that doesn't seem to be helping, so, well, bugger.

We had guests with an interest in watching. I promised we could do, and was a good hostess by providing liquor to soothe the burns.

Didn't watch it seeing how I'm trying to reduce the amount of BS in my diet ^_^. However on the highlight review that ABC did that night they did make it a point to mention that that part (which Bush usually starts with) was moved the the closing part of his speech.

THey'd have been dead, that's why. Shame on you, trying to kill them. Although, not like you could be blamed if they did...

yeah, I had other things to do, Dynasty Warriors 5 after all... chan bouhgt it, we've been playing that game like nuts. allready maxed out:

Pang De (loved him but slow), LU BU (It's lu bu, he's the frigging man. Love his commentary too), Zhao Tai (just bad ass. no other words) Guen Yu (Whom I nicknamed Rasputin), Taishi Ci (A bull, nothing less), Ma Chao (The Tiger, the destoryer of men)

Working on Guen Ping, Diao Chan, Zhao He, Huang Zhong and Cao Pi (love the double blade!)

Chan Maxed out: Ling Tong, Pang Tong, Xiaohou Dun (one of the best in the game without a doubt.), Zhou yu, I think that's it, but I'm probably wrong.

All who don't know. Go back to the hole you live in and put the rock above it. peace,
ur bro

Oh man, that is like THE BEST GAME EVER for the PS2. I maxed out Lu Bu almost right away because he's friggin Lu Bu, his commentary is awesome ("IS THERE NO ONE WHO CAN PROVIDE ME WITH A DECENT CHALLENGE?"), and he is the man to fear (seriously, do not fight Lu Bu unless you have your ultimate weapon, seriously good items, maxed out health/musou, and eighteen bodyguards to take hits for you), so it's even more fun to fight as him.

Guan Yu is the God of War, and thus is deserving of much respect. Ma Chao is one of my favorites ever since DW3 when he had a dragon hat. I loved him for his hat. Fun fact? If you put Ma Chao on the shadow saddle, he cannot be knocked off his horse, and he is fucking deadly as nuts on a horse. You cannot defeat him. You can play on Chaos mode against Lu Bu, and it won't matter. Everyone has to jump up to get at Ma Chao, and he knocks them out of the air. Cao Pi was the first one I played on DW5--so devilishly handsome and fun!

Zhou Yu and Zhao Yun are Carrie's, usually, but I gotta tell you you are missing something amazing if you don't immediately play Lu Xun. The. Guy. Runs. Faster. Than. Horses. He's fast, good finishing moves, and with his last weapon, can outrun Red Hare. I call him Speedy Boots. After playing him, everyone else is SO SLOW it's almost not fun any more. Liu Bei and Cao Cao are good, but the Wu generals are less fun. Chan is awesome for playing Pang Tong (he is so cool; run and stick him in a pool of enemies and true musou with him, and it's just bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang-bang enemies all go boom). If you like that style, you'd like Zhen Ji. She's about the only girl I play on DW5 (I play Sun Shiang Xiang on DW3, but have liked her less since) because she's fantastically, ridiculously powerful. After them, I like the axe character for Wei (something with a D?) and Huang Gai (he beats people with his club and looks like Mr. T--how is this not awesome?).

I would recommend getting DW3, actually. It's older, but there's still great gameplay, hilarious dubbing, and you get to play the God and Goddess of War, too. 5 is definitely an improvement but 3 is good enough to tide you over until a 6th game is released. I do NOT recommend Samurai Warriors--too much thinking, too many necessary steps and challenges to get places, too many branches and impossible missions, and too few characters (pfft, 26? When I can play over 40 on DW?).

It's an awesome game for the Xbox too. Different format same great asskicking times.

I started using Ma Chao after he kept killing me over and over and over. I said, this guy has got to rock to use. Oh and he was...

Tried also to get into Guen Ning for the same reason, but I don't like his mossou attack. And let's face it, that's a neccesity.

Chan did well with Ling Tong and Pang Tong. He was impressive.

For some reason still not getting a harness. Does it have to be on chaos level before i start getting harness and orbs? what's the happy happs?

"I fight in the name of Justice!"
God that got annoying. "Enemies Cringe in Fear at Facing Pang De" never did. and of course Lu Bu's will be repeated for the ages....

I think half the reason I used Dian Chao was since she's lu bu's girlfriend that I'd get to hear more commentary from him. Some of his Mousso mode rants are fantastic! I was rolling.

best wishes sis,
Fox Chao

oh yeah,
all of our bodyguards are ridiculously powerful fan girls. Love the healing they give. It changed the game.

Oh and I meant to say Gan Ning, not Guen ning. You could see how I could be confused.

I always cycle out the finished bodyguards with new ones that are reknowned in three kingdoms so they can build up with the character when I go through story mode (or else they kill people I want to kill!).

And I knew who you meant, re: Gan Ning :) Just like with Guen Yu = Guan Yu. Like I've said, I've played this game since DW3, and I'm pretty sure I could name just about everyone in 3 and that's basically everyone in 5...
Wu
Sun Shiang Xiang
Lu Men
Lu Xun
Gan Ning
Huang Gai
Taishi Shi
Zhou Yu
Da Qiao
Xiao Qiao
Zhou Tai
aaand I can't ever remember the generals because I don't play them, but they all are "Sun"s

Wei
Xu Huang
Other Axe Dude who is a Bad Ass
Cao Pi
Cao Cao
Cao Ren
Pang De
Zhen Ji
Uh, "the Fagarine" (I don't remember his real name any more ever since we called him the gay Wolverine and his name evolved from there)
Xiaohou Dun (MOTHERFUCKER TORE OUT HIS OWN EYE!)
Xu Zhu (stupid fat, useless fucker)
Sima Yi (pretty, but fan-boys are useless)
And some other guy and his brother who use shields or something

Shu
Liu Bei (woo! sexy!)
Guan Yu (GOD OF WAR)
The Third Blood Brother (great, know exactly what he looks like, can't think of his name)
Huang Zhong
Other Fan guy (not knowing his name is killing me here)
Fan guy's wife (she's new to 5 and not impressive, so I don't care)
Zhao Yun
Ma Chao
Wei Yan (uh, the guy who doesn't speak English--erm, Chinese good)
Pang Tong (WOO!!! JEDI MASTER!!!)

Others:
Dong Zhuo
Lu Bu (**ALL HAIL!!!**)
Diao Chan
The two sorceror guys
Meng Huo
I CAN'T BELIEVE I CAN'T REMEMBER MENG'S WIFE'S NAME, SHE IS SO AWESOME AND I ALWAYS PLAY HER!!!

Oh, Ma Chao's taunts! I love it. "I fight in the name of Justice!" Hee! I love Cao Pi's and Zhen Ji's--the two of them are snarky as all get out.

For orbs, you should probably use a faq to find it (gamefaqs is usually good enough), but most special items you can get pretty much by accident and be covered. The only thing I know you have to play on hard mode to get are the fourth weapons. Which are disastrously wonderful.

Man, I want to plaaaaaay, but I loaned the game out to someone. And I think that leaves me with only like DW4 to play, and DW4 sucks.
