So arcfox7 has come to know and love the glory that is Dynasty Warriors 5, and I'm getting all excited back and forth with saying who kicks ass and who sucks it, and I got cocky and bet I could name just about everyone in the game. Well, PS, I couldn't--we spent so much time playing DW3 and making up new names for the characters (like "Fagarine" for the Wei guy, and I know feiran knows who I mean) that I can't remember them all. I can remember faces and weapons and how much I hate them (there's an imbalance of hatred here, I mostly loathe Weis).

Who thinks they can name all fifty billion characters in DW5? Come on, no cheating, just give it a shot. Respect to the winner!

HAHAHA Fagarine!

Dude, I can't even name the ones I played most often.

I know one was Xiao Qiao and the other was something else Qiao.

And I know Cao Cao and his son Cao Pi because the latter cracks me up if I try to pronounce it the way it looks.

And uh, Lu Bu, because he was the one that kicked my ass the most times and slapped around that character I played who was his bitch. WTF was her name, even?? She was my favorite and I don't even know her name. I fail at this.

Oh! Zhou Yu, he was one of the hot ones, yeah? And there was Sun Shang whatever, that you always played.

Uhh, that's it, mostly. The rest of them all may as well have had the same damn name.

Your slut character (hey, she was a prostitute, same difference!) was Diao Chan. I remember because I played Lu Bu and fucking hated her hanging all over his manly staff (you know what I mean!). The Qiaos were Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao.

Fuck, I couldn't remember the white-haired Amazon and now I remember it was Zhu Rong. I DEFEATED AN OFFICER!!!

I meant to tell you that Zhang He was the "Fagarine". He's actually not bad to use. He jumps everywhere though. It's a little annoying. (although his weapon is a "peacock claw" so maybe he did star in RENT.

Diao Chan is ok. She's nice to look at, but she's weak and enemies come in closer and don't respect her strength. Lu Bu's commentary wonderful, worth playing Chan on that.

Ha! I love "Eye of the Tiger" for Ma Chao. And I am glad that you, too, have called Pang Tong a Jedi. 'Cause seriously, that's what he is. Nice ones for Lu Bu, too. Cao Pi as Darth Maul...hmm. Wouldn't that make Cao Cao Darth Sidious then? Man, that dynamic is already screwed up enough (I think Cao Cao and Cao Pi fought it out for one or the other's wife, who would be Zhen Ji, hence her line about "My body and soul are yours hereafter" if you beat her in their musou modes). Liu Bei as Maximus--totally makes sense. What was his brother's name? ZHang Liang, right?

Ling Tong! See, he's new, I totally forgot about him. Last night I was talking with people about the game and soon as I said it I remembered all these names, Sun Quan, Sun Ce, Sun Jian, etc. Dag, this game is infectious.
