My God, it shouldn't be legal for me to be this bored out of my skull on a day when I actually do have work to do. The thing is, the bits I have to do have looooong stretches of not having anything to do. And, the capper, I can't even do things I could do to pass the time because the stupid post-doc left a mess and I'm not cleaning it up. He's taking care of it in a couple of hours, or so I was promised.

I go to lunch in the next hour, so we'll see. By the way, if you watch Heroes at all, this link may disturb you but it definitely won't surprise you (credit where credit is due: I stole that from linaerys. Really? Adrian Pasdar is magnificent, but he needs not to play a character with living relatives in any show ever. Because he walks around and just goes, "Make sex with me. Now," with his eyeballs to everyone he looks at, and that's just not okay when he has to, for plot reasons, look at his brother a lot. Don't even get me started on the inappropriate touching. That's overtly creepy but could be construed as touch-reassurance, like when you make a better impression on someone by shaking their hand and clasping their arm at the same time (more touch, more intimacy and openness). You cannot mistake the looks he throws off. His lips say "SCOWLY SCOWL GRRR!!!" His eyes say, "If I gave you half the chance, you 'd suck my cock and be grateful for it even as I kicked you off."
