I have to say this: the Unilodge crew is mostly very solid. However, if I see Justin or Michelle again, I may just kill them. Michelle is...okay, she, her voice and personality, grate on every fiber of my being. (btw: not NY Michelle, Butler Michelle). She's a vegetarian who like hates the smell of meat, let alone meat itself, so she got her room switched to live with a vegetarian, which (thank god) kept her from being on my floor. NONETHELESS, she calls here often, is over here to pick up Alicyn for going out EVERY NIGHT, and she just comes in at this point. Excuse me, but unless you've been told you can, you KNOCK first no matter how many times you go somewhere.
Then there's her voice, which I won't get into at the moment because it just is soooo annoying. She's not valley-girl or snotty, she just...GRRRRRR, I dunno, it's a voice that must be heard. You wouldn't think anything of it, save maybe it's slightly nasal, but that's it. I guess it doesn't hurt that I find her irritating in general. Justin...Justin is fugly. I'm sorry, I'm not beauty queen, but man, he's ugly, he's boring, he's patently not funny, and he seems to be around mostly for Michelle to yell her opinions (did I mention she's over-opinionated?) at. The two of them come in, rant about something they did the night before (this time, it's about the Mayor drinking himself under the table again), then grab Alicyn and leave.
Hi, I live here! You'd never know it. They say 'bye' to me. It's a wonder they know my name. Good GOD. Unilodge sucks balls. The dorms here other than Unilodge--they're called colleges even though they're just dorms--all have like good vibes, you meet Aussies, too, instead of just walking by random students of about 4-5 universities. Instead, I get to be treated to Justin and Michelle's constant, daily intrusions to parade what they did the night before, take Alicyn out without so much as looking at me, and duck out before I could even suggest, "hey, I'm free for some fun." GRRRRRRR.
A happier update should be forthcoming when I come back from dinner with the newly in-town rents, but GROWL. If there were a way for murder not to be crime, man, oh man...but even being in a foreign country doesn't change some laws.
