Happy Valentine's?

First thing: Valentine's Day according to wikipedia. Raise your hand if you're surprised that Valentine's falls along yet another "pagan" (in this case, Greek) festival period.

Second: hail fucking hurts when the wind drives it into your goddamned face. I was quite enjoying the hail until that part. I couldn't hardly see. I tried to turn around, back my way into the wind, but all that did was fly up my hood and dump the hail that had accumulated there down my neck. Faboo.

Third: I've only done a few things this morning and one of them was clean up broken glass that I didn't break. If I don't find out that the two glass bottles were broken by spontaneous collapse, I will murder the person who left it behind. I mean, WTF? You shatter glass all over the floor and you leave it? Hell, I didn't even leave it, and I'm a lazy bastard.

ETA: The Spanish Post Doc declaims responsibility for the broken glass, BUT HE STILL SAW IT AND LEFT IT ON THE GODDAMNED FLOOR!!! ARRRGH!!!

and to think all these years i dressed up in pinstripe suits, watch old gangster movies, and celebrate the valentines day massacre. A bit morbid? Perhaps. But Fun none the less to throw a 1920's gangster themed party :D

Well, pagan isn't the right word, since there are actual pagans, but I couldn't think of another derogatory word for "non-Christian."

yeah you gotta love any reason to get together with friends, watch old gangster movies (johnny dangerously and Dick Tracy always popular) have an italian pot lock, wear pinstripes and fedoras, and just have a good time...why not.

if you have somebody valentines day is stressful, if you dont its depressing. And flowers are WICKED overpriced. Its 100% totally not worth it at all what so ever. So now you know what to do next year :D its better then grossing people out at over priced resturants playing kissy face anyways.

Doing an all day marathon of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies was another classic way i have spent this holiday :D
