Songs that don't take 'go the fuck away' for an answer...

Having a song stuck in your head is normal. It happens to all of us, right? But what happens when something completely brain farts out of nowhere? I mean, this is getting ridiculous. Everyday this week, it's been something that I've not been a) actively thinking about or b) have listened to recently or c) really even know the words to.

The week's breakdown:
Monday - Body Moving by The Beastie Boys (I only just listened to that enough times to know I didn't want to delete it from my computer, to say nothing of knowing it well enough to justify this)
Tuesday - Skimbleshanks the Railway Cat (from CATS! CATS! I HAVEN'T BEEN TORTURED WITH THAT FOR YEARS!!)
Wednesday - Baseline - Quarashi (okay, that makes a bit more sense)
Thursday - The Kenya song (you know, "Where can you see lions?" not as bad as the week started, I guess)

ARGH. Song-stuck-in-head horror stories, anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Just look at my entry from earlier. At least the songs in your head are in english. The ones that get stuck in my head are usually Korean, Cantonese, or occasionally Japanese. I couldn't even sing most of them, but in my head the words a clear as a bell (even though I don't know what they are saying). I really need to stop watching the music video portions of my Korean dvds.

Me? I've had three songs of Supertramp ("The Logical Song," "Goodbye Stranger" and "Take the Long Way Home" alternating) on repeat play for the last two days. That high-pitched singer is really annoying.

Not only have I had the Kenya song stuck in my head; I had the Lard Man theme (by the same people) in there, too.

hehe laura and erin hate it when I get one of the Doug Anthony All Stars songs stuck in my head (it's called "I fuck dogs", and is even more offensive than it sounds...) and start unconsciously humming the intro.... "sha la la la la LA la, sha la la la la LA."
