After edgehopper posted the list of Rock Band DLC for March, I've been listening obsessively (AGAIN) to Nine Inch Nails. I was working in the other room, and "Closer" came on, and goddamn if that song isn't still sexy-as-fuck. It's also got the kinkiest goddamned video I've ever seen.

Remember this? Oh yeah you do.

I really, really shouldn't be watching this at work. I'm totally gonna anyway.

I'm going to make a series of posts, perhaps, all the videos from Rock Band music. Whatcha' reckon?

Sexy song? Yes. Sexy video? Uh....

I could analyze the lyrics to that song forever. Like how it's a rape fantasy but the very first verse establishes consent (You let me...)? Great song.

I didn't say it was necessarily a sexy video, but it's definitely the kinkiest thing I'd ever seen when it first came out (when I was wee small thing). Parts of it, though, are very sexy (like having Trent Reznor handcuffed with his latex-opera-gloved arms about his head and the blindfold...rawr).

And the lyrics a veritable playground of all the possibly fucked up things two humans (or more) are capable of doing to one another.

The director of this video sadly just bailed on making The Wolf Man with Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins and Universal is, of course, looking to replace him with uberschmuck Brett Ratner, because Hollywood is stupid.

His name is Mark Romanek, and he directed the creeptastic One Hour Photo previously. He has had three projects fall apart on him in the interim: Cold Case, a thriller with Tom Hanks; A Million Little Pieces, based on the James Frey book (which was of course undone by the whole thing where it turned out to be fiction) and now The Wolf Man.
