Resident Evil: Columbia-Presbyterian
Sigh. Getting a paycheck is so depressing. I still get the sense that I'm not getting enough, but I'm sure if I inquired I would be told that the pittance they're paying me is what I am due. I guess I'm just pissed because it's so little after they take out union dues and my one pre-tax benefit, my transit benefit, is something I can't use until I get a card and can't get back for not having used for the past two months because I don't have this card. It's a truly bizarre system. Also, I am all yay-union, but really, temporary employees like me? Do I really have to? I was told I was non-union support staff when hired, there is that option in my 'benefits in brief' folder, can't I just be that and take my chances with getting fired? $40 a month is a lot for something I don't use to support that guy I met at orientation who couldn't explain to me why my hiring was so fucked up or fix it. If he can't fix this, why should I pay dues?
In other news, RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE, Loews 34th Street, 10:30 pm this Friday, who's in? Come on, come on, don't make me break out the e-mail lists again. That's strictly May-Movie territory.

I'm going to be sure I get mine in advance of right before the show that evening. I'll prolly leave work, go home, drop crap off, then go to Midtown and read comics and get dinner after picking up a ticket there.
I recommend people Fandango this one. I'm not buying the tickets in advance this time.
