Actually, I saw a making-of on this video (can you believe it?) and one or other of their sister's was the actual choreographer. This was a step up from the intentional cheapness of their other videos while still capitalizing on the zaniness that made them viral.
Also, they couldn't find a place to rent them eight identical treadmills, so they entered into some shady deal whereby they "bought" them but then sold them back to a place minus a "restocking fee" (aka a rental one).
I'm only posting it because Rock Band has repopularized the song. Also, be nice to me: I'm an Old. I'm not hip to the things the kids listen to all the time.
That's the real video. How powerful lame am I that I only ever heard about what was supposedly a viral web sensation by watching a special on the music channels about "videos that changed the world" and this was on there? It's a great video, though.
