I GOT MY CRAZY F'ING AWESOME BLENDER FOR MY BIRF-DAY!

My mother apparently listened when I begged, pleaded, occasionally demanded, and otherwise demeaned myself with how much I wanted this KitchenAid blender. The base is heavy enough to crack zombie skulls, which is a total bonus. But the real reason for excitement is FIVE SECOND MARGARITAS. Perfectly blended, so no chunks of uncrushed ice. Two pushes of the button and done, so no long crushing spins and lots of noise. All condusive to throwing a par-tay. In fact, if I don't run out of ice at the party, I will be hurt. DON'T HURT MY FEELINGS: HAVE A MARGARITA. (Or frozen beverage of your choice!)

Speaking of, birthday plans still stand for the 12th of April. We'll meet outside of Dallas BBQ at 6 pm. (The restaurant is on the east side of Broadway between 165th and 166th streets, across from the hospital.) I need to take a head count of folks coming to that and the party afterwards, especially for the point of making a reservation if I can. (I seem to remember not being able to, but I'm going to try.) See, simple, just the one question. The party is on cbreaker's actual birthday, so let's all be sure to celebrate him, too, on his natal day.

Note also that her vote should probably count more than my "not really sure" because even though I'm saying to myself "maybe I'll be responsible and do schoolwork if I'm swamped," I'll probably not do schoolwork even if swamped :P
