No, I love that that's what some people get out of it, but I never want to know. I always want to be surprised. ANYONE WHO DOES NOT LET ME BE SURPRISED IS GETTING AIRLOCKED. I WILL FIND A WAY. I WORK IN A LAB. A VACUUM ENVIRONMENT IS CONCEIVABLY WITHIN MY REACH.

Retroactive spoiler. That's brilliant. You know, every time someone speculates and is right, I always wonder if they didn't have some inside info and were in fact spoiling me. Even if it's complete speculation, sometimes having someone say "I bet Nathan flies away with Peter at the end" can make that moment so much less when you see it on film.

I had a spoiler come true two years after the fact that viridian suggested it as a possibility. Now, I know she reads fan spec boards and keeps up with news about shows, so I'm not sure how much was that and how much was her just putting 2 and 2 together (she's actually also really, really good at doing that), but it ended up being right. And if I hadn't known, it would have been MIND BOGGLING. As was, I was sorta disappointed to have known it ahead of time. This is why I threaten her. I kid, but I really will kill her one of these days.

I promise that all of my crackpot speculation is pure crackpot speculation. I never learn anything important about the plot from any of the places I read. I keep up with news but usually it's just whether or not cast members are returning.

My guesses re: LOST are really just picking up clues that we're supposed to pick up. The writers put it in there, and because I watch a lot of these kinds of shows with big reveals, I am good at picking up tiny hints.
