Er?

So, I put on BSG to watch. When [livejournal.com profile] feiran heard the opening music, she goes, "I KNOW WHAT THAT IS. YOU ARE PLAYING MASS EFFECT." I returned it with a sarcastic, "Yeah, exactly." I offered to have her join me to watch, but she waved me off and went, "Nah, you play your game."

Then I was confused. Because, erm, I was pretty sure she was teasing me and knew I was watching BSG. She said she did. Er?

-Okay, GUNNY MATHIAS IS ON THE SHIP, TOO. I am now convinced that everyone who is NOT Daddy Adama signed up for the shit-ship mission.

-YAY HOT DOG.

-Gaeta is apparently only on board to set action stations. Fabulous. He must be so proud.

-Leoben = super creepier than ever.

-I see a lot of people being pissed off about this development. Nice that her husband is conspicuously absent.

-Er, Tory, this is not a safe place for you to be. One thing the Chief does not do is let things go.

-On second thought, Tory, you're the most awesomely evil thing ever. Why are the Cylon babes so much better at it than the guys?

-Thank God the Chief didn't fall for that, though. I like him too much.

-God, poor Anders. I hope Leoben apologizes whenever it is he recognizes Sam.

-Wow, I kinda like Helo in this episode. It's a not-so minor miracle.

-Oh, that's low, robo-dude.

-You have some goddamned nerve, Leoben. Also, this scene between Leoben and Sam IS FUCKING HOT. HOTTEST THING TO HAPPEN IN RECENT MEMORY. THIS IS AS COOL AS THE EYE FLASH IN THE PREMIERE. "C'Bucs rule!" YAY SHOUT OUT TO ANDERS' INTRO.

-Also, yay Anders having done something useful! The info about the cylon civil war needed to come out somehow.

-I can't believe that, after all this goddamned time, after all they've done, they're still actually afraid of mutiny.

-Oh, the Chief. Don't do anything...stupid. I mean, stupid-er. (I guess this means that he's not fired off Galactica, though.)

-NOOOOOOOOOO NOT MATHIAS!!! OMG THERE ARE NO MARINES LEFT! NOT IN THE WHOLE STUPID FLEET.

-Oh GOD CHIEF DON'T DO SOMETHING STUPID.

-OH GOD, DON'T DO ANYTHING STUPID, CHIEF.

-Baltar went there. NOW THE CHIEF IS GOING TO DO SOMETHING STUPID.

-Oh, oh, Chief.

-"I won't come back this time, I promise." Wow. Still creepy, though.

-"So, you think she's a cylon now?" And Anders turns around. Of course, he does. Poor little (actually, tall as frakkin' Helo, whoa) toaster.

-Um, Kara, no one likes you. This isn't grief, this is the end.

-Shit, Gaeta swallowed A LOT OF SHIT to just make that offer. YOU TOTAL CUNT, KARA.

-Hee, I like violent Helo. He's too nice most of the damn time.

-Gaius isn't totally stupid. He brings the psychotic chick with him when he ventures out. Still not a good idea for him to go see the Chief.

-Humble Gaius is kinda sweet. It makes Chief Priest Gaius a little less heinous. (But only a little because that plot line makes me want to vomit.)

-Please don't make the Chief fall for this. Please.

-PLEASE?

-Well, frak.

-Adama left Sam, Kara. That's the thing you never understood. He left Helo.

-Just ask Sam to jump the ship! Between him and Sharon, they should be able to do it!

-WHO STILL REMEMBERS THE COLONIAL MILITARY CODE!?

More coherent thoughts to come... Well, to be honest, probably never.

The Kara/Leoben scenes weren't really hot. They were more sad. Because we didn't get much of one in the beginning of them painting before Sam stormed in. The one later where she's pissed at him for killing Mathias was so sad because she was totally breaking down.

Whereas there was nothing but layers to the conversation between Sam and Leoben and so much of the hotness was just them both being stubborn about each other and teaching each other everything and nothing all at once. Despite what Leoben is (possibly) telling him about his origins, Sam still reacts like Sam and it breaks my goddamned heart. He HATES this cylon, the model and this one in particular, and when he learns that it could forever die, he stays small enough, human enough to go, "Good." It's great to see Leoben panic and try to convince Sam that he should be sympathetic WITHOUT KNOWING THAT SAM IS A CYLON @(#%*#(%&#!!!!

The final four are all going nuts except for Sam, and I have this awful feeling that Sam is the one who'll end up screwed for staying true to himself as was the plan from last season. It's not fair.

Yeah, I'm terribly disappointed there wasn't more to that paint scene. I was just like "..." because she was apparently trusting him that much. I realize she's completely out of her mind, but that was where I was just staaaaaaaaaring at the screen and trying to figure out when this show decided to start catering to my bizarre shipping tendencies.
