I swear to God, I didn't write this review of Iron Man. However, if I were going to write more about Iron Man this is exactly what I would have written.

I'm especially amused that while I'm restricted from cursing when I write my reviews on this site, the girl went into detail about how ruined seat cushions were by the time she and any other female left the movie theater and she did so with impunity. Good to know. Not that I intend to work such things into future reviews I write for Smallville or anything. (Unless Green Arrow comes back and then all bets are off.) Might be useful for Heroes, though, given how squirmy I get when Sylar raises one of his perfect eyebrows. ::drools::

I think this Iron Man review really proves the axiom laid down by the sages of ZZ Top: every girl is crazy for a sharp-dressed man. (Especially when he's sarcastic and frequently sweaty and in some stage of undress.)

Unnecessary? Or just necessary enough!?!

No, seriously, what? Have you not seen it yet? FOR SHAME IF YOU HAVE NOT.

I have not seen it, and am not likely to! When it comes out on DVD I might think about it.

....WHAT???

Nuh-uh, no way, we're fixing this right now. Are you free this week? You are coming with me to the theater. I'll pay the damn ticket myself, this is unacceptable. There are two really good reasons to see this movie. They are your ovaries. There are two more really good reasons to see the movie. They are Robert and Downey, Jr. DO YOU NEED MORE REASONS?

That . . . was damn amusing. :)

It's totally inappropriate oversharing which is my M.O. My reviews of Heroes on PR are all like "I'm sorry I can't tell you what's been going on because I got distracted by Adrian Pasdar. What do you need to know, really? Superheroes. Powers. Great responsibility, yada yada."

Heh, now I have to go read them. :)

I warn you, it's pretty silly stuff. They were my first reviews :)

Wow, what a perfect review. I could not agree more.

You're going to totally put yourself in the poorhouse through repetitive viewings of Iron Man, aren't you? :p

It's only my second time!

(And yes, probably.)

Is this now TV's version of Titanic?

I saw Titanic in the theater only because I lost a bet. The bet was with my sister (who, on the same trip, was seeing it for the 4th time). I bet her that Titanic wouldn't win the Oscar for best picture. (It started off with me saying the superior film L.A. Confidential would win and ended up with "Any movie except Titanic.)

But I guess you could put it that way. Lots of movies are "my Titanic." Batman Begins = four times, Spider-Man 2/X-Men 2 at least three each... None will ever best The Matrix though (mostly because I can't afford it any more). That was TWELVE TIMES. Iron Man is good but it's not The Matrix.

You mean you saw the Matrix in theaters 12 times? Or 12 times total?

If so I have you beat on Terminator 2 - 20 times! (and none in the theater, 11 year old Q couldn't get in to rated R movies)

You're...you're kidding, right? No, I mean, do you really not know me at all? I have seen episodes of television shows more than twenty times. Something like The Matrix I've seen too many times to count even more. I'd stop watching it and just watch it again. When I went to Australia, it was the only DVD I owned. (It got played a lot.) So 12 times, yes, is only in theaters. Would I be able to quote the entire thing start to finish (with inflections! I do a wicked Agent Smith!) if I'd only seen it 12 times!? Hah!

I also spent most weekends of my childhood watching either Star Wars (the entire trilogy--I was able to say, in English, what Greedo was saying to Han Solo in the Mos Eisley Cantina with my back turned to the screen) or Indiana Jones (again, the entire trilogy--Dad had a hetero crush on Harrison Ford).

T-2? Probably close to forty times. It's good to be fond of movies.
