That is it!!!! I've had it. He's retooled and tinkered and outright ruined his best works to the very limit of his ability. He has to go.

I thought it was a hoax, but a review of the newly released DVDs confirms it: he has altered Return of the Jedi to place Hayden Christensen as Anakin instead of Sebastian Shaw. The man has to die. The only think Hayden did well was be angry...in one scene!!! I won't go into an entire diatribe about how awful the new Star Wars films are, mostly because everything you could say about them (the bad acting, the poorly conceived armies of 'cute' creatures....) could be said about the originals. It's just that the originals had vision, and the new ones have exploitation alone. But that guy...I really thought they were hard pressed after The Phantom Menace to find an older Anakin who could be a worse actor than that little kid, but they managed!!! AND NOW HE IS IN THE ORIGINALS!?!?!?! ARGH!!!!

Somebody's gotta beat some sense in Lucas. He had all the elements to make a good film the first time, Samuel L Jackson, Liam Neeson, ::drools:: Ewan....::ahem:: better CGI technology, and something he hasn't had in decades: a chance to make a movie that people will want to see. Damn it, damn it, damn it...
