Gakked from a bunch of people
Sep. 30th, 2008 11:48 amThe Rules: Post info about ONE Supreme Court decision, modern or historic to your lj. (Any decision, as long as it's not Roe v. Wade.) For those who see this on your f-list, take the meme to your OWN lj to spread the fun.
Give it up to Marbury v Madison, everybody! Judicial review in the house!
And you might think it's odd of me, but I'm a fan of...no, not what you're thinking. I'm not a fan at all, really, but it was fun to quote Meet The Feebles. (Man I need to see that again.) What I'm really fan of is Lawrence v Texas! Consenting adults? Go on and get biz-zay.

Not for political reasons; it's a fairly uncontroversial antitrust case. But it should appeal to your film buff side--look very closely at Judge Kozinski's language throughout the opinion.
