What's the euphemism for a show that has so thoroughly jumped the shark that it's coming around for a second try and aiming to impale itself on the dorsal fin? Because that's Heroes right now. I give up.

It's time to give up. I'm starting two petitions right now. One, to get Pushing Daisies a full season two and another season besides. And two, to get Heroes canceled. Because unless Heroes is canceled, I'm going to have to keep reviewing it. Please let this bloated motherfucker die already. If not, can we please have more Pushing Daisies forever instead because that is the only thing getting me through the week.

God, remember last week? There was hope and change in the air. Also, I didn't have to watch Heroes. I miss last week.

Be patient. Apparently the Powers that Be in the company have told Heroes to shape up! NBC has fired Jesse Alexander and Jeph Loeb from the production staff, and Tim Kring has said he will refocus the series on character development and simple storytelling, 'getting back to the comic book roots and good vs evil'

Yeah, I will believe that when I see it. Especially since he promised that would happen when selling the bullshit that is this season so far...

The irony is, the guy behind Pushing Daisies worked on Heroes, and he said if PD doesn't get a pickup, he'll go back.

I read that! I was like, "NOOOOOO!!! STAY ON YOUR SHOW!!!! EVEN YOU CAN'T SAVE THIS BITCH!!!"

Seriously, he'd make Heroes better at the expense of the actually good show. NOT COOL.

Dude, there are much happier things to be watching on Monday nights. Like, Summer Glau as a killer robot and Kyle Reese's PTSD brother blowing stuff up. TO START WITH.

(Totally with you Pushing Daisies, btw, and I only discovered it this week!)

I have to get through season one of The Sarah Connor Chronicles first :) Since I've started watching hour-long shows while I work out, I've gotten through a bunch of series in about two-three weeks. As it happens, SCC is next on the list.

I'd love to watch it live, but I've got to finish my commitment for Pink Raygun and review Heroes. That, and my roommate watches Chuck before it, so it's no-go. Once I catch up, maybe?

(And YAY! Pushing Daisies is AWESOME! It's the cutest and most subversive show on TV. They could make anything adorable.)

Nah, I understand, my series-to-watch list is a foot long as well. I just wish more people were catching this show, as it's gotten almost too good to believe at this point. All of a sudden FOX's generous 22-episode order this season doesn't feel like enough reassurance that I will get all I can out of this story.

That's very encouraging! I would love to be able to enjoy more fandoms' expansions. It never seems like they're trying to explore the worlds more, just sell the same old stuff over and over. That was my biggest worry with SCC, but I've only heard great things, so I'm really eager to start it.
