I seemed to have stepped in it with folk earlier today on several levels. I sorta joked it off, but it's bugging me, which means I'm still being an asshole and I know it. So, I do apologize for anyone's hurt feelings. Nothing was meant as a personal attack, but where it came off as such, again, I apologize. I shall work better at not letting my generalizations get away from me to the point of being insulting.

In future, perhaps, I should wait until I'm less pissed off by things I'm writing about to, you know, write about them.

No worries! It's part of what makes needling you about feminism a worthwhile pursuit. You take it as well as you dish it out, so go nuts. (Aside from the fact that it's almost impossible to offend me with non-personal attacks.)

I do mean it to come back to me as much as I dish out, which I realize is a system not everybody uses. As a result, I sort of try to walk the line of "don't offend if possible, but mock stupid babies who cry about anything." Which, if I'm not careful, can cross the line with people who don't appreciate that. So, apologies and an attempt to do it better is what I can do (I doubt I could remove the "I know you are, but what am I?" mentality at this point if I tried.)
