I don't know how I even came across this, but holy shit, you have to believe me when I say that Tyra Banks IS A BATSHIT CRAZY PSYCHO BITCH.

Oh yeah, way to motivate that girl, Tyra. Screaming at her and demeaning her for her good-natured, good-sportswoman-like resignation to losing your stupid fucking contest is totally the way to reform her "defeatist" attitude.

I've said it before, at great length, to captive audiences who squirmed mightily as I ranted and raved: Tyra Banks is a cocksucker. Her brand is supposedly about empowerment; what she's actually selling is "Listen to Tyra or Tyra will not listen to you. Support what Tyra says, or get the fuck out." She's a fucking diva who thinks that her ability to exploit our interest in women's bodies means she is some goddamned marketing genius. And I'm not at all exaggerating when I say she's DANGEROUSLY UNSTABLE. Holy fuck, welcome to Crazyville, population Tyra Banks.

I just like to update people every so often. With proof. I mean, on a given day, I'm usually crossing myself against a possible run-in with Tyra Banks, but there's absolutely a credible threat there!

I have seen two segments of her talk show. Each left me speechless with horror. She isn't concerned for anyone; she's a concern troll, who only pretends to care so she can then scream about how your behavior is evil and shame you for not living up to the TYRA way. Telling people that you can be beautiful without makeup, if you're overweight, etc. etc. is so easy if you're hardly ever caught without either of those things and have so much money that people have to listen to what you say even if you're a bloated, blotchy, PSYCHO COW.

(I don't mean to harp on fatness either; she could be--and is--model skinny, and I find her hideous. Attitude does shine from within, as she screeched, and hers is telling more than she knows.)

Ok, I just stumbled upon this post...
And am laughing my head off!!!

A bit of background. I worked with Ms. Banks on a number of occasions, both in Bryant Park and Paris and I can say one thing, you people have no idea how ridiculous you are coming across...
Ms. Banks is one of the sanest, most intelligent, hard working models in the business. I saw that clip, and she is 100% right! This is not a "lark" this is not a parlour game! The business is cold, hard, and very very difficult to get into and even harder to stay in and make a success in. And you have a very very short window of opportunity to become a success before you "age out!"
Ms. Banks has been through some of the most incredibly horrible sh*t you can possibly imagine, I personally observed some of it, and she always handled events with class and tact and reasonable-ness that, quite frankly, had I been the target of, would have gone bat-shit ballistic over!
To wit, being thrown out of a show simply because she is Black and Beautiful, because Naomi Campbell wanted to be the ONLY Black woman on that stage at that time. Tyra didn't even bat an eyelash, not one tear!
I asked her later what the hell happened and why she reacted that way, it was so UNFAIR!
This is what she said: "It's BUSINESS, and I never take BUSINESS personally, you can never ever allow yourself to take it personal, and if you start finding yourself doing so, that's your cue to GET OUT; remember that!"
Now we are talking an incredible class act here, the only other one I met in that business who even came close was Cindy Crawford...

and BTW, Tyra got her revenge too (just wait long enough...) when Campbell self-destructed over her addiction to a certain illicit substance, that I refer to as the "Devil's Dandruff," guess who was the only Black model still left standing, ready to fill in on a moments notice... Yep, you guessed it.

Back to the silly TV show, I don't care how you act or how warm and personable you are, it don't mean a thing in that business, really, you have to approach it as a business, career, and job! And if you are not serious about it, you have NO BUSINESS being there and wasting everyone's valuable time!
That's what Ms. Banks was saying, she has little tolerance for those who consider it a fling or "just a gig" and don't work just as hard as she does for what she has.
