trinityvixen: (epic fail)

I apologize to the makers of Gryphon, Manticore, Danger Zone: Volcano in New York, Lost City Raiders, and any other movie I've ever seen on the Sci-Fi Channel. (Except Aztec Rex. That is STILL unforgiven.) I was unduly harsh on those films. They are twice as long and half as sucky as episodes of Heroes with about the same budget. At least they are supposed to be bad, and no one really defends them as anything other than a means to draw a paycheck. After tonight's episode of Heroes, I can honestly say I'd sooner to a Sci-Fi Channel marathon with some tentacle porn on top than rewatch that...that installment.

DIE IN A FIRE, YOU STUPID FUCKING SHOW.

I'm going to watch The Punisher this week--all three versions (Dolph Lundgren; Thomas Jane; Ray Stevenson). I have seen only the 2003/4 version, which I remember loathing at the time. It's going to seem like bloody Shakespeare. Even the Dolph can't fuck up as royally as this stupid fucking show that WON'T DIE EVER WHAT THE FUCK DIE DIE DIE DIE.

The Dolph Lundrgen Punisher is AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWESOME. It's so ridiculous.

I am so there, dude. I love the Dolph. I have only seen him in Johnny Mnemonic, and still, love. And there's no way he could be less interesting than Thomas Jane, so yeah, looking forward to it.

No admission of bias since your favorite character got it on with Pikachu? Besides, last week's eps was FAR worse than this week (I was ready to throw things at the screen).

Sure, I'm biased, but not because I'm jealous. I actually liked Elle's character once upon a time. Mostly, I find Sylar making out with anyone pretty icky. (I'm about 99.99999% sure that the actor is gay, too, so it's doubly unsexy.)

I have lost track of what is the most stupid episode. I'm trying to forget each one as soon as I'm done reviewing it.

Oh, I am now very glad that I gave up on that show a month ago. It's so disappointing that something with so much potential went right down the toilet like that. :(

The descent has been rapid and desperate. People complained that season two was meandering and pointless, and, in the threat of cancellation, they went for the everything-and-the-kitchen-sink approach. It's not working.

I'm not sure why, but of all the pseudoscience in recent episodes, the fact that the eclipse lasts so much longer than it should bugs me more than anything else.

Oh, yeah, that's up there. Because WTF? Eclipses don't last even as long as the commercial breaks, let alone for hours...

The next eclipse that will be more than 7 minutes isn't for 142 years. The longest one this century will be less than that. Furthermore, eclipses are localized! It's always disappointing to me when there's some spectacular total eclipse coming up and it turns out it's only going to be visible from somewhere 5000 miles away!

All of these conflicts with logic I have suffered, too, trust me. It's very depressing the depth and breadth of things this show refuses to research.

Why do you do this to yourself. :P

I am a glutton for punishment. If I can survive season four of Smallville, I can survive season three of Heroes.

(Now, if I'm still watching Heroes at season eight, like I am with Smallville, that would be another story. Fortunately, I know that if things keep going the way they are on this excreable show, I will have either gone brain dead--and thus won't care--or I will have firebombed NBC's studios to prevent such a thing from ever happening.)
