Two seconds before I turned on the Oscar showcase (on mute so I don't have to hear anyone talk about where they got their ridiculously overpriced crappy dresses), I caught Barbara Walters. Presumably, she was trying to interview Hugh Jackman. The part I caught? Him dancing in her face. With his crotch. I'm sure plenty of women wanted to see that. (And not a few gay men!) But not me. I am already predicting doom, and the show hasn't started! Hooray!

A mostly lame opening number, though I'm amused by the subtle recognition that The Reader didn't even remotely deserve its Best Picture nomination...

LMAO I turned away from my TV screen when I saw that coming... I love you, Hugh, but I don't want to see ANYONE giving Barbara Walters a lap dance.
