I won't be organizing any outing to Star Trek. I was going to, but it's just been a crazy time in general. So, have fun Trekkies/Trekkers! May the Force be with you Live long and prosper?

Date: 2009-04-29 12:21 am (UTC)I thought the trailers all looked great, but I don't know anything about Trek. In any case, don't you think the uberfans would be harder to convince?
Either way, even CHUD's Devin Faraci, a huge skeptic and longtime Star Trek fan said it was pretty good. I've only read one negative review yet, and it was unimpressed, not abjectly negative. I don't want to jump the gun, but don't be surprised if this is this year's Iron Man: critical and audience favorite.

Date: 2009-04-29 02:06 am (UTC)I'm totally unimpressed by the Star Trek trailer, and a lot of the Trekkers/Trekkies I know were likewise underwhelmed and worried. Like I said, I'm happy to have it succeed, but I won't be convinced that it will until I see it.
