The perils of online shopping
Dec. 21st, 2004 05:06 pmI'm rather lucky the packages for some people I saw last week arrived in a timely fashion, but it seems as though my main gifts for my two roommates and theKathy have only just shipped.
I ordered a week ago, so this still technically falls in the 5-9 free super-shipper days, but I reserve the right to be pissed. Especially when I got a present to its destination not three days after ordering it only the week before. It seems that the laws of Christmas shopping don't in fact change when you do it online. You lose some hassle, but you still have the last-minute-ness of this. Balls. I just hope Lisa's and Carrie's arrives tomorrow. Maybe I can beg my mother to drive them in and I can wrap them.
Whew. And Dana's is going to be way late. Damn.
