I found out a while ago who the mystery person being killed off on Heroes would be, but the internet at large has finally, and without spoiler tags, confirmed it all over the place. Just in case, I'll use the spoiler cut...
And the winner is: Nathan Petrelli.
Color me shocked. The entire internet is rolling its eyes at this point because 1) Nathan's already dead, so killing the dead guy isn't exactly a shocking twist, and 2) see #1.
No really, WTF? This is neither interesting nor all that unexpected. We all knew Nathan was on borrowed time so long as he wasn't really himself. Eventually, Sylar will out, and he did by like the second or third episode. So, yeah, wasn't really surprised that we won't see much of Nathan again.
Which? Fucking sucks, actually. Adrian Pasdar, when given anything to do, rocks the house with it. Rumor has it that he also found out that he was being written off the show by reading his scripts. That's really an awesome way to communicate with your actors. It's bullshit, and Pasdar is better than that. If you failed his character and you don't need him any more, have the decency to go, "We fucked up, sorry we can't keep you around."
Also, as I've mentioned in a whole mess of current reviews at Pink Raygun, I think Zachary Quinto is entirely subsisting on an all-scenery diet at this point. What does a guy have to do to get out of his contract over there? (Besides being not white, I mean?)

2)Really gotta get caught up on that.
3)That's actually the only thing I've heard about Metalocalypse. I'm sold.
4)Looking forward to seeing it sometime.
5)When you say "haven't caught up", does that mean you've seen some of it, but just aren't on the current episode or season or whatever?
6)Another one for my list.
7)Well said! Also, I rejoiced when Scott Bakula. I get a little frustrated with the with certain ridiculous situations that cause moronic drama between Chuck and Sarah, but I still love the show.
new...
8)And then there's Dexter, which I've only seen through season 2 of. Love it.
movies...
9)Finally saw Zombieland last week Tuesday. I had been looking forward to it ever since I saw the trailer in front of District 9 at the theater, and it actually exceeded my expectations. That never happens!
