I waited 1.5 hours and all I got was this lousy taste in the back of my throat

Erm, that tag sounded dirtier than I intended for this post. I only meant that I got the H1N1 vaccination finally. I got the nasal vaccine. No big, just that after a few minutes, the liquid sort of works down the back of your nose and you can taste something that's just barely there enough to notice.

But ugh, I was up so early to get the clinic at 8 am sharp. I had to stop and meet my Dad and one of my younger sisters, who needed the vaccine, too. We got there, were the first people to get it, and still waited and hour and a half. Sheesh. And tonight is one of many marathon nights of testing for my experiment for class. It's going to be a loooooong day.

At least you got it out of the way. I was going to get it...then I thought if so many people are saying it makes them sick or they get it anyway, why bother...now I think I'm just don't have the motivation. I'm not unhealthy *knocks on wood*, but it probably wouldn't hurt to get one just in case.

I don't think it's made anyone sick I know who's gotten it. I wasn't going to get it unless they made me (they were going to at work, but then they didn't get any vaccine here). I thought people who were more prone to getting sick or were working with kids should get it before I did.

Then my sister made seeing my brand-new nephew contingent upon my getting it. Hence the trip out today.

Yeah, I think the people getting sick from it was just a rumor.

Good call about how people who work with kids needing to get theirs. I handle a lot of mail at work, so I should probably check into it considering all the germs I'm exposed to everyday (I'm not a germaphobe, but the mail can be pretty nasty).

There was something I saw on the intertubes about how Netflix DVDs are actually fairly clean. I can't imagine mail is too, too much worse, if that makes you feel better.

Yeah I feel the same. And the hysteria seems to have calmed down here now...
