What time did you wake up today: six am, then ten, then noon for good
So, to cap off the weekend, which was an orgy of spending, I picked up a new pair of pants, a new skirt, and a shirt (guess what color?) from Ann Taylor Loft. I also picked up two pairs of heels for my sister's wedding. Hopefully, I'll have a complete wardrobe ready for my time out there. No luck on six-seven foot laces for my ass-kicking goth-y boots, but I'll keep looking. I picked up underwear on the second trip to Victoria's Secret. The first trip we went, I was looking at a bra, and a saleslady came up, asked me what size I was looking for, and I told her. Her response? "Oh, we don't make that style in your size." Or, basically, FUCK YOU, bitch, you can't buy this bra. So, I was rather pissed about that trip. The VS on Bway and 80-something was nicer, less crowded, and I found things I liked better, so I bought there instead.
After that, it was rather boring, Duane Reade for shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, that sort of stuff. While we waited around for Liz M to join us, we decided to pop into Kim's up by Columbia, which turned out to be really, really good. I browsed the used CDs and bought the Batman: Forever and Kill Bill: Volume 1 soundtracks, both of which I'd been thinking about buying recently, and they were only $6 and $7. I also saw the Blade: Trinity soundtrack. I have all of that on mp3 already (as opposed to Batman which I couldn't find half the songs for and Kill Bill for which I just hadn't tried), but I bought that CD too because it's that good and saves me the trouble of burning the mp3s. I'm sure I'll get around to looking at the 'woooooo special DVD!' sometime, too (NOT).
When we got back from the debauchery of shopping, it turns out Eugene brought by the last Invader Zim disk, so I think I will amuse myself with that while I stitch some today and wait for Heddy to call and do dinner and a movie. All in all, I've nearly broken my account this weekend, but I'm not displeased with a single purchase (even the CDs, none of which I needed aren't giving me buyer's remorse).
