Once upon a time, someone brilliant who I think was [livejournal.com profile] glvalentine because she's this sort of brilliant posited the theory that Hugo Weaving is on a mission to be in every franchise. At the time this theory was born, he had, to date, been in The Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Transformers, and god alone knows how many other sci-fi/fantasy films. I think the joke was that he was going to end up being Captain America at this rate.

Well, not quite. But it was a near thing. And he'll still be in the movie!

(Also, HEEE at the comment "he's half forehead.")

I liked Push a lot. It had a lot of character to it. And if your friend thinks the Captain has to be Arnold-sized, well, tell him to stop looking at pictures drawn by Rob Liefeld. (This is not a man, it's a tank with a head. (http://jordynmarcellus.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/liefeld-cap.jpg))

Triple H was in Blade Trinity. He did all right for what was admittedly a stupid movie. (I liked it anyway. Parker Posey and Ryan Reynolds should always do movies together.) Anyway, Thor is being directed by Kenneth Branaugh of all people. It will be amazing--amazingly good or amazingly weird is yet to be seen.

Haha that photo is obnoxious. My friend has more sense than that -- I think he's just thinking how, in so many comics/photos or whatnot, the heroes get the he-man treatment.

Haha I forgot Triple H and Ryan Reynolds were in Blade Trinity and I had no idea Kenneth Branaugh was directing Thor! Wow. Thor just got a lot more interesting. : )
