This might rival my last post for the stupidest, most unnecessary reboot of the week

There's nothing wrong with the Looney Tunes as they are.

They did already try this--several times. You know what "reboot" of the Looney Tunes actually worked? Tiny Toons. And why did that work? Because it was as random and wantonly violent and silly as the originals. Rebooting the looney tunes as either super heroes (?) or in some kind of...sitcom (!?) is just stupid, and everyone knows that.

Want to keep the Looney Tunes relevant? Make more of the old style of cartoon. Hell, keep rerunning the old cartoons. Just stop with the reboots already.

I hearted Tiny Toons so hard! Pinky and the Brain!!!

Pinky and the Brain were only on The Animaniacs, but yeah, I like them, too. (I own all the available Animaniacs DVDs!) Tiny Toons is on the Netflix queue, and I'm looking forward to revisiting it soon.

Duh. I was seeing Animaniacs in my head and thinking Tiny Toons - but yes, Tiny Toons was awesome anyway :-P

Supposedly, that's the plan for this show -- like house of mouse, I think it's supposed to be old-style shorts linked by the sitcom thing.

I suppose that would be okay--it'd be like the movies they did back when. I hope that's where they're going with this at any rate.

I certainly liked Babs better than Lola, as far as female knock-offs of Bugs Bunny go. Perhaps it was because she was allowed to be funny and wasn't just a female to beard the nominally male character.
