Day 01 - A favorite song
Day 02 - A song that makes you happy
Day 03 - A song that makes you sad
Day 04 - A song that reminds you of someone

Look, I'm going to give you all a break here. This is a song that I didn't even want to listen to, lest it be stuck in my head all day. But I had to be sure the YouTube video worked, and now it's stuck and I'm just trying to save the rest of you. Suffice to say, this song reminds me of [livejournal.com profile] feiran. Not because the lyrics refer to things that remind of her. Not because she introduced it to me. Not because we enjoyed this song together. (Lord knows, that isn't the reason!)

It's the song that reminds me of [livejournal.com profile] feiran because I never hear it ever, not EVER, without going, "God, remember that time when she used to..." YES WE REMEMBER. IT WAS AGGRAVATING AND WE EVEN DIDN'T HATE THAT [TELLING YOU WOULD GET THE SONG STUCK IN YOUR HEAD]!

So, click on the cut to find the song that I cannot even mention because even mentioning it was enough to get it stuck in my head. I swear to you folks: tomorrow WILL be better so help me.

I didn't even dislike Sailor Moon! Aside from Voltron, it was the only anime I'd seen prior to college and I quite liked it! I did! THEN SHE WATCHED ALL THREE HUNDRED EPISODES OF IT IN A MONTH'S TIME AND I LIKED IT LESS.

In my defense, she did the EXACT SAME THING TO ME with Invader Zim, which I loved dearly and which I can barely stand to hear quoted anymore.

And I fast-forwarded through all the transformations and the Doom Tree arc, WAS THIS NOT FAIR I ASK YOU. :P

I forgot about how much you hate to even hear Zim-isms any more. To be fair to me, though, I did stop purposefully referencing it to piss you off after, like, a few weeks. So that's something, I guess.

You know, I even liked that show, once. But that theme song was never not fucking annoying.

Since youtube is blocked at work, I still don't know what the song is! :(

It's the Sailor Moon theme. For which I make no apologies. ;)

See, that couldn't even get stuck in my head. Because I don't know it. :)

Consider yourself lucky. The show was decent enough, young-adult anime fantasy, but the song was never not annoying. Even when I liked the show, it was crazy. And I liked the show. There are pictures of me with my hair done up in those crazy meatballs.

Well, I did have "Waltz for Debbie," by the Bill Evans Trio, in my head.

Now I have this.

Do brains have reset buttons?

God, the only thing to get rid of an earworm is to play another one. It's not working for me thus far because the Sailor Moon theme is easily the most pervasive earworm I've ever encountered.

Try the Sea Lab theme song! That always does it for me.

There! That's something I probably ruined for you by watching it all the time. Among a shit-ton of other things.

Damn you, I clicked over here to answer your comment...STUCK IN MY HEADDDDD...

The only relief I do have is that it's not the English one, 'cause that would be stuck in my head all day, not just for like the next few hours.
