The half-day Birthday report

Twelve hours into it, and so far:

1. Lisa gave me star-shaped post its. I wrote "You're a..." and drew arrows to the point and put it on her forehead.
2. Liz C and Sans woke me up with a phonecall as they were commuting in to work. They were nice and let me get off the phone and go back to sleep.
3. My mother called as I was just getting into 168th, and said, "Oh, you weren't supposed to pick up!" We chatted a few minutes.
4. One of the lab techs here told me I looked taller and prettier today--the first is because of my boots (yay slut boots), and the second because I'm genuinely happy.
5. My boss brought me flowers for my birthday ::tear:: and she said I can go over to the Apple vendor fair today so I can see about stuff to play with for my iPod. I ::heart:: her today.

Will get back to y'all on the second half of the day after dinner with theKathy, Lisa, Carrie, and maybe Eugene.

Sorry, Carrie, but I gotta go with a Zim quote here: "I'm so happy! All the time! It's great!"

Silly Dayle! Good job not being able to tell the difference between me & Tricia...god! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, anyway! I thought you'd like me to tell you over the phone as well as on your live journal. What about that? Hope you get so drunk tonight you're still hungover when I see you on Friday!
