The May Movie Details are as follows:

What: THE HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY
When: Friday, April 29th, 2005
Where: Loew's 34th Street Theater (same as has been for Constantine and last year's May Movie, Van Helsing)
Time: 9:00 pm

meh, I have no idea if I'll be there or not. how likely is this to sell out before Friday? I really have no concept of how popular this crap is among non-geeks.

It's pretty likely that it will sell out, especially since nothing else of note is coming out this weekend (unless you count XXX: State of the Union, which I sure don't). 9pm on Friday on opening night... yeah, you might want to decide sooner rather than later.

Suggestion this time: why don't we send a contingent to secure our places in line really early and switch off holding the spots if necessary so that we all get decent seats? We do tend to have to sit too close for comfort when we duck in at the last minute.

Your appointment rules you out, chickie, but would anyone else be willing to go down ahead of time? I could take a shift at some point myself, but probably not before eight.
