What makes it okay is last night coming home to catch up on our respective weekends away from the city with my roommate Lisa only to have us both get all giggly because we both saw Batman Begins on Friday. Lisa's pretty level-headed, but she was like "whoa, it was really good!" Therefore, someone with the obssessive tendencies I have can be forgiven for being so blown away.

Who can solve these mysteries?
1) Which arm did Bruce break in the beginning? 'Cause they both looked a bit too intact when he was flailing...
2) After his first night as Batman, Bruce has a bruise that circles his right bicep (and yes, even with Christian Bale shirtless, I noticed, all right!?). What could have done that? What in his actions or something we didn't see would have given him that bruise?
3) Who pays for the destruction to Gotham? Wayne Enterprises pick up that tab?
4) How will W.E. explain that they just happen to have the antidote to Crane's fear toxin in large batches? Do they get a tax write-off for that?
5) How the hell are they going to rebuild Wayne Manor without a contractor finding out/spilling the beans about the Batcave?

1) I don't think it's ever specified in the comics, but from the way he fell I'd guess it was his left. Though, being right handed, he would have put his right arm out to brace himself primarily. So it's a toss up, really...

2) A bruise like that could have been from a ducking action as someone was going for his throat but got his bicep instead. You tuck your chin in to avoid the grab, and the arm comes up along side your neck to prevent the grab oof your throat fully. Unless there was some kind of rope/whip-based weapon involved, but I don't remember seeing any of those in the movie.

3) What? W.E. pay for that? W.E. is very generous, but it's not Stark Ent. I would think that repairs to the city of Gotham would be fixed and paid for the same way they would be here in NYC. By the taxpayers.

4) They never DID mention that they distributed the toxin. One would think that as an aside, they could have innoculated everyone in the Heights, but remember what Gordon said at the end, "The heights are...lost." So it's never said that W.E. has gone public with the fact of having the antidote, much less distributed it.

5) Simple, you tell the contractor that you want to do some research at home. With Lucius Fox as close a friend as he has undoubtedly become, and now seeing as things have "disappeared" from Applied Sciences. There are some things you'd rather keep to yourself. Where better than at your own home? So, you have the construction, wiring/lighting and plumbing done, and then you bring in the computers and things AFTER the initial construction.
