But this story is already just as funny as the Sailor Moon/Hellblazer crossover. It's a Harry Potter/Hellblazer crossover. I've only gotten into the first chapter thus far (my boss is back), but it's hilarious.

My favorite line: "Teach me to take a brick to a magic fight."

I don't see any compelling reason to use "hyr" instead, but then I scoff, loudly, at the use of "womyn". Please. If one is secure enough in one's identity, then why make a show of distancing onesself from other possibly identities?

I sort of scoff at "hir" and "sie", too, because it sounds fucking pretentious. Just pick a damn pronoun already or use your name. I can't see John Constantine ever saying/thinking "hir" - he's going to either assign a gender at will or call Gabriel "Gabriel" or some other noun that makes it obvious who he's referring to. John's not PC, he's not going to give a shit about whether or not he offends an angel by assigning him/her/it a gender.

(Also, I can't remember offhand, but doesn't the novelization identify Gabriel as male?)
