If you need some relief from my rant earlier, check out The Brick Testament.

Might I recommend the entries on "The Law" in particular? The one on incest is exceedingly interesting given that the books preceding Leviticus are so choc-full of incest that violates 'the Law' it's astounding. Even the less ickier bits, like not marrying two sisters while both are still alive, the Bible manages to find 'Holy' forefathers who broke it. Way to go!

My religion growing up was Lutheran. I still identify that way, mostly, but I was attending a church that more or less modified its methods in order to attract people because attendance was low. That really sort of soured me for religion--like any other business, they need customers.

I still believe in God, but I don't believe in the institution so much.
