In other news, I caved and agreed to go upstate tonight and tomorrow to be there for the installation of equipment. My dad is compensating me, which is nice, and I'll get to go for a drive, which is, too, but meh, I'm less excited about it than resigned to it. Damn me and my reliability! Good thing I'm almost certainly dragging viridian along.

I've been trying to google this and running into a wall. Can anyone point me in the direction of the map of the Allied planets from Firefly/Serenity? I know there's a picture on the interweb somewhere of which planets make up the Core, the outers, etc.

umeyard help me out here with the legal stuff and Washington? Where in this does it say donating money to charity in someone else's name qualifies as HARASSMENT?

Yes, that's right. I'm going to have an aneurysm if xannoside doesn't knock off referring me this stuff. Remember our heroes at Penny Arcade? Jack Thompson isn't smart enough to deal with them so he's trying to coerce law enforcement to do it (start with the letter, one up from the bottom, and then move onto the piece de resistance: the actual check the PA guys sent to charity).

This man is a flipping psycho. I'm this close to purchasing THIS just to show my support. It would be better spent $20, however, to donate to charity. Better not to hate, even if it makes money for fairly decent guys. I think it would be hi-larious if this touched off a massive donation from the gamer community, all of which would be in Jack Thompson's name. Some hundred years into the future, they'll think he was the greatest humanitarian lawyer (not an oxymoron, really!) ever, and won't that be the sweetest revenge?
