Proof positive that too much Smallville is not good for your health:

Or maybe it's too much World Cup talk of late or something, but I dreamt about being on the sidelines of a soccer game last night. One team was dominating, and a girl in the losing team's colors was getting really pissed off (why we'd be on the same side, I can't say, as I was sure I was routing for the dominating team). She ran to get a flag, which she started to wave on the sidelines. No one thought it was strange she would do that despite it not being her team's colors or anything. I got in her face and told her that if she actually thought Lex Luthor would follow through on his promises, she was sadly mistaken. Down the sidelines, the great bald one got up to leave. The girl's team lost, and she ended up chasing him down, jumping on top of his windshield then threatening to throw herself under the wheels while he drove. Slick badass that he is, Lex just swerved really well when she did it, and she was (more or less) fine.

The flag that she waved about? It was a rainbow flag. I cannot make this up, only my subconscious can.

Are cats actually allowed to have milk or is that a myth supported by cartoons? 'Cause this morning when I went in to change the kittens' water and post about my weird-ass dream, Wally wouldn't leave me alone while I ate my cereal. I let him lick the spoon when I was done. He and Oscar both jumped to lick my bowl, too (I'd drunk the milk out). I heard cats were lactose intolerant--or is that the old folk wisdom?

I think I can't leave the window fan in the living room. It's frackin' noisy as all get out when we're trying to watch TV as is, but man did I sleep well with it in my room last night. I'd put my fan in the room with the kitties to move the air about so's they wouldn't be too hot (my room fan has a cage that's too small for them to stick paws through). It being still unbearably hot later that night, I took the fan out of the living room.

This is why I should probably get a white noise generator, ya? I mean, none of the bangs or squeaky brakes bothered me. I'm probably ruining my hearing subjecting myself to the noise all night, but hey, full night's sleep? Awesome.
