Here's an attempt to be cheerful:

Last night I dreamt I took feiran and ecmyers to my church. feiran went to use the bathroom, but before I could warn her, she'd opened the door and let out all the rats. One jumped into my hand. Part of its shoulder bone was sticking out through its fur. I screamed, dropped the thing and it ran downstairs.

Where the Ninth Doctor picked it up and cooed at it and made it all better. The End.

Nope, still not cheery.

There was a very funny sketch on Conan once where Andy Richter shilled for an organization known as "Kitties Forever" with its subdivisions of "Puppies Forever" and "Kiddies Forever." Basically, using a distraction, the organization would go into the home and remove the boring cat, stupid dog, or verging-on-teenage children and put in a kitten, a puppy, or toddlers, respectively. It was pretty freakin' awesome as an idea.
